CIVIL LIBERTIES: Evanston Adopts Resolution Against USA PATRIOT Act
On Monday, May 19th the Evanston City Council voted 6-0 to pass a resolution which calls for the full repeal of the deceptively named USA Patriot Act and for the preservation of our civil liberties. This is the first town in Illinois to pass such a resolution, joining 107 other cities in the US who have taken a public stand. Full Story
