Satanophobia
------------

Satanophobia is the fear of satan. This fear is associated with demonophobia (fear of demons) and stygiophobia (fear of hell). These people are scared of burning in hell forever and being tortured by the demons and being anguished forever in hell and being tormented by Satan. People with this fear usually have very strong religious backgrounds thus they would do anything to do what is right so that they don’t have to suffer an eternity in hell but have an afterlife in the midst of the angels in heaven instead.

These people are usually scared of committing a sin and will go to frequent confessions. They will do everything not to think of Satan and will be in a state of constant prayer.

Treatment includes cognitive and behavioral psychotherapy. Talking with a priest or pastor may also help the phobic person to feel better.

Famous people with robophobia

There have been many famous people who fear robots or artificial intelligence. Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk are just two of the more vocal ones. According to Mashable.com, an “open letter calling for safety measures to be instituted … was posted online Sunday (and was) signed by none other than Tesla's Elon Musk and famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking. Even Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft is sick with this rare disease.

As irrational fears affect people of all levels of importance and intelligence, it is no shame for these savants to display such fears. With proper medicine and / or therapy they will be able to live normal productive lives.

Selenophobia (from the Greek word seleno, meaning "moon"), also known as lunaphobia (from the Latin word luna, meaning "moon") is the fear of the moon or even darkness on a moonless night. Like many other phobias, selenophobia originates from painful experiences during childhood.

The full moon is the most feared phase of the moon, because full moons are believed to cause people to commit more crimes, including murder, breaking into homes, and robbery. Fear of the full moon is known specifically as remaphobia, coined after the book Remaphobia - The Fear of a Full Moon, or mestoselenophobia (from the Greek word mestos, meaning "full").

There are mythological reasons for the development of selenophobia, including believing that the moon is inhabited by evil creatures, as well as the belief that the full moon has the ability to transform people into werewolves.
