Shep was the name given to a herding dog that appeared at the Great Northern Railway station one day in 1936 in Fort Benton, Montana, and watched as his deceased human's casket was loaded onto the train and left. In 2017 a mixed breed dog followed his human to the bus stop in the village of Vlahinja, near Kursumlija in Serbia. His owner went to hospital in Belgrade but, never come back. His owner passed away in the Belgrade hospital but, his dog is still waiting for him in the same place .
