Windpower 2018

The American Wind Energy Association's annual conference and trade show is back in Chicago at McCormick Place, May 7th to 10th 2018. The AWEA is is the wind energy industry's large trade group and will be bringing together over 400 exhibitors from around the world including manufacturers, installers and providers of serviced in the field. Educational sessions and industry subgroup meetings taking place there will advance the abilities of this important industry to continue it's tremendous growth, replacing fossil fuels and nuclear generation that pollute the planet. One new trend being discussed is the growth in offshore wind farms, which will be coming soon to the Great Lakes.

The industry is creating jobs and providing farmers an extra income stream.
