Time To End Domination of National Elections By Small Rural State Primaries

Not a single state of the top 22 in population, not a single state with a greatly sized city like New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Miami... but small rural states are heavily promoted in the primary process.

It's time to end the inordinate power of pig, cow and chicken agribusiness in Iowa, some racists in South Carolina, and hunter dominated New Hampshire in our national elections. Because Republicans are the minority party in many states, the GOP has enabled the relatively small populations of Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire,with higher percentages than average of Republicans, states in which there are no major metropolitan areas,to dominate the air waves with the thoughts of rightwing Christians and conservatives.
