#LaquanMcDonald video being released; protests underway

Chicago corporate media are reporting that the Chicago police are releasing the video of the shooting of Laquan at a press conference timed to 4:30PM on Tuesday, November 24th. An emergency rally is scheduled for 5:30PM at the intersection of Roosevelt and Halsted; other protests expect to follow. UPDATE: Protests have enveloped downtown Chicago. Follow independent journalists Aaron Cynic and Kevin Gosztola for live coverage from the streets; early reports have it that three protesters have been arrested.
