LOCAL: HOUSING: Downtown Affordable Housing Protest Draws Over 1,000

More than a thousand people rallied in downtown Chicago on Tuesday to protest the lack of affordable housng in the city -- and to call for support from Mayor Daley and City Council members for an ordinance that would require developers of new construction and large rehabs to set aside 30% of units for affordable housing.
