CANCUN- The WTOs 5th Ministerial Conference has ended in failure when delegates from one or more countries, reportedly including Kenya, India, and Korea walked out of closed-door green room negotiations. Walden Bello of the Interntaional Forum on Globalization has called the collapse Seattle II

CANCUN, Mexico -- World Trade Organization trade talks collapse in Cancun, Kenyan spokesman said.
Other delegations confirmed that the talks had ended in failure. It was the second major defeat for the body that makes rules for international trade. In 1999, similar talks collapsed in Seattle amid street riots and difference between members.

As many as 10,000 people attended todays march and rally to demand the end of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and to commemorate the death of South Korean farmer and activist, Lee Kyung-hae, who took his life in protest against the WTO's agricultural policies. When the march came to the police barricade at kilometer Zero, the heavily constructed mega-fence was largely dismantled by an all female activist crew with an anarchist security cordon, and finally tumbled by a Korean-led contingent of hundreds of other activists.
