'Chorus of Dissent' greets Bush at St. Pat's Parade
George Bush was greeted with catcalls, jeers and carols of dissent at his appearance at Chicagos annual St. Patricks Day Parade on Saturday, sparking glares from political officials on the parade reviewing stand and outrage among Republican Party loyalists who had gathered to greet Dubya. Lyrics to "We Should Impeach The Bogus King"

We Should Impeach The Bogus King
(Sung to the tune of "I'd Like To Teach The World To Sing" by The New Seekers)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(instrumental intro)
The leader of the world's a dope.
So tarnished is the Shrub.
He has to please the industries
With rides in Navy subs.
We should impeach the bogus king
Reclaim democracy.
Dislike and hold them in contempt:
George Bush and Company.
The leader of the world's a dunce.
What can he understand?
Just hear the cackles of his shills:
"We'll fleece throughout this land."
That's the song you'll hear...
Let the world see today...
Sleaze from Bush on display...
It's so very clear.

Lyrics to: "The Shady Bunch"

The Shady Bunch
(Sung to the tune of "The Brady Bunch")
(instrumental intro)
Dubya's story: you may know already.
Stole the White House, and his gang now runs the world.
Most of them are pretty old; served his father.
Their scandals yet unfurled.
Oratory from the dumb Bush Baby?
He can't say more than three words on his own.
Propped by his men, working all together.
Shrub can't be left alone.
Since Election Day, Republicans still bellow:
"Doesn't matter whose voter card you punch."
'Cause their coup was helped by Bush's family.
Bush and Company are all a shady bunch.
The Shady Bunch!
The Shady Bunch!
Bush's junta is called The Shady Bunch!

Bush won.
Gore lost.
Ashcroft has done nothing unconstitutional.
Terrorists are evil and should be killed without trial.
The American left is even more irrelevant now than it was Sept. 10.
Nov. 2002 - Republicans will control both houses of congress.
Nov. 2004 - Bush will be reelected in the biggest electoral landslide since 1984.
Keep voting for Nader you idiots.
More misinformation from irrelevant hippies

I don't want no shrub
a shrub is a Bush with it's roots soaked in blood
and oil and Daddy's dirt
and Grandpappy's Nazi million-five don't hu-ur-urt
Feel free to adopt and/or adapt this little verse, it is a gift to all anti-war brothers and sisters.

God help America
Under George Shrub
He derides us, misguides us
To the blight that is not from above.
From the oil fields to the ballpark
to the White House that he stole.
God save America from this asshole.

Lyrics: King Is A Toad
26 Mar 2002
King Is A Toad
(Sung to the tune of "King Of The Road" by Roger Miller)
(instrumental intro)
Failure as President.
Policies that make no sense.
This fraud has no regrets.
His tax cuts inflate our debts.
Ah, but...
War powers give Bush some room
To hide his economic doom.
He's a man of means, full of beans...
King is a toad.
King Bush's right wing reign
Screwed our nation, and it's plain.
"Compassion" was a ruse.
He's still paying donor dues.
Helped by old fogies, who abound.
Worked for Daddy, still around.
He's a man of means, full of beans...
King is a toad.
Foreign leaders all just sneer at Bush's brain.
He went to Europe; their folks called him names.
This emperor has no clothes, but wears the crown.
The people mock; still mock him when he comes around.
They sing:
Failure as President.
Policies that make no sense.
This fraud has no regrets.
His tax cuts inflate our debts.
Ah, but...
War powers give Bush some room
To hide his economic doom.
He's a man of means, full of beans...

I would love to protest Dubya... I have through my on-going contact with our senators. Please encourage friends, family to fax, call your represenatives concerning global warming, the oil war, the invasion and genocide of the palestinian people (read the history of the palestinian people they were farmers not warriors), etc. Remember the elected officals (including Dubya) work for us not the other way around.
