Events across the country tonight will commemorate those lost in Iraq – both military and civilian – now that we have reached the sad milestone of 4000 U.S. military deaths in Iraq. In Chicago we will unveil a memorial that volunteers from across the city helped to construct. The display will be a testament to our commitment to change course in Iraq. We believe not one more Iraqi or U.S. soldier should be killed; not one more U.S. dollar should be spent sustaining war and occupation.
