On November 1, 2005, Chicago Media Action filed a formal action against nine Chicago-area TV stations, a "petition to deny" against the licenses for failure to serve the public interest.
This afternoon, June 13, CMA received the official ruling of the petition: The Federal Communications Commission rejected CMA's petition.
