Don't get me wrong, I mostly sympathize with (illegal) immigrants, but this Elvira is a riot: 1) Got deported once 2) Used a fraudulent social security number when working at the airport post-9/11 3) Claims that her son's "ADHD" can't be treated outside the USA 4) Comes from a country where there's no persecution 5) And constantly invokes "god".

The child is a citizen and Elvira has a lot to offer. She's put in some time and should be able to stay with her kid for !@#@$ sake.

Here's the thing. This idea of having a law to blanket all situations is not wise. These things have to be considered subjectively. The way this is going, the folks have made this case pretty high profile, so it's kind of a test case. It will be a precedent setting case. So, we NEED to and MUST support Elvira. If she has to go, then so many more moms will be separasted from their kids in the coming months. That is not acceptable.

We know that Bushco is not really interested in the border situation except for what it means in votes. His true base is as dependent on immigrant labor as they are Corporate Socialism in the form of tax breaks and subsidies.

These deportations are marginal, and serve to exhibit to the fundie christian retards and racist kkk people that Bushco is tough on border issues. These deportations are media propaganda for Bushco. We cannot let Elvira be used that way. No way.

Get real. Obama and Durbin have never done anything regarding some pretty heinous human rights issues, like torture and other forms of police abuse, don't expect them to stick their necks out now. High profile Democrats think they are supposed to look like jackass rednecks if they want to "take back the white house" (as if they have any say over it). so yes, waking up would be a good idea.

Actually Triumph would say, "It's a good law......for me to poop on!" The "I poop on your law" sounds more Monty Python to me.

The feds like to do night raids, usually between midnight and sunrise so thats when I would watch out for a surprise raid on the church the most. Supporters should be prepared for that
