On the day before the Chicago City Council votes on a resolution to bring the troops home now, join a rally to urge them to vote YES on the resolution -- 5 pm to 6:30 pm, Tuesday, September 13 at Daley Plaza, 50 W. Washington Street.

Local city councils should spend more time fixing public transport, recycling and accomodating homeless people than getting involved in Federal politics.

How much time and resident money do you think they spent reproducing what happens in other levels of government? Do they think George Bush is going to pass resolutions on Illinois trash collection?
