Unable to arrive at the morning press conference on Oak and Michigan where Andy Thayer was arrested, I did catch up to one of the marches that came down Dearborn. Though many folks were upset we did not come down Michigan, the march at least did not go down State. On a personal note, I was happy to be out in the streets and I think the march helped provide an oomph to frustrated spirits.

I myself have reflected upon my own role as a media activist. Though it seems that our resistance to this war effort are futile, I find it hopeful to be a part of something bigger than myself, something that helps me transcend my own selfish and fearful sense of being.
