THE OTHER SIDE OF AIDS confronts many of the questions that remain unanswered after more than 20 years of research. Through interviews with scientists, testimonials from HIV-positives and historic footage, the movie chronicles the HIV-AIDS debate from it's beginning in a 1984 press conference to the present regimen of "life-saving" drugs.

THE OTHER SIDE OF AIDS gives voice to the many HIV positives who are alive and well without toxic drugs and examines the AIDS establishment dogma from many angles including a growing number of prominent scientists calling for a reassessment of the HIV-AIDS hypothesis.

This fall, THE OTHER SIDE OF AIDS premiered at the Portland Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, The Indianapolis LBGT Film Festival, the Jackson Hole Film Festival in Wyoming, The Rochester, New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Australia Queerdoc 04 Film Festival. The film was also selected by the American Film Institute of Los Angeles as one of its 12 entries in this year's International Film Festival documentary competition.

THE OTHER SIDE OF AIDS was produced and directed by filmmaker, Robin Scovill, whose wife, Christine Maggiore tested HIV-positive in 1992. Maggiore, author of What if Everything You Thought You Knew About AIDS Was Wrong? is director of Alive and Well AIDS Alternatives, an internet-based non-profit information agency.
