Re: US Launches Falluja Offensive - Chicago's Anti-War Movement Back in the Streets

Granted, the War in Iraq seemd an inevitability since President bush took office. Aside from the evident motivation behind the war, what other reasoning is there for such a tyranical approach to innocent civilians. This war has made what happened on 9-11 not only insignificant, but it has brought on many many advisaries onced deemed to be Allies. Now that this war has raged on for the better part of a year, how are we to justify our continued occupancy in this country? We as Americas believe in the democracy that has been sold to us since the inception of this Country. But we must as Americans realize how this country was gained. Through bloode shed, through tyranny and through murder. This war is a shinning example of what this government truely deems importatn: money. Yes yes it is indeed a notion that has been fomulated since the begining, however it is true.

We believe that because our society function considerably well under this democratic process that other countries must follow in this path. Truth is, every county is not suited for democracy. Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, Monarchy, all have their pro's to the society they represent. I feel that it is devaluing the very thing that we are trying to instill in the world: peace. Peace is not made in such ways, slaves are.

We must stop this corporate globalization. McDonalds will have to understand that some countries don't enjoy pollution their bodies.

It is a true tragedy to know that within the next hundred years the race of men will fall to a machine that we ourselves have inaugurated as a force of truth. I mean, afterall look what Hitler accomplished with his "moral code". We are no better today than the slave traders of the old world, or the tyrants of the ancients. We are the next to be fall a great humility. Remember: All great empires rise, peak, and fall to ruin.

Oppression is the value we instill in our children and the kneel not to God or truth, but to fear. Welcome to democracy Iraq. I pray that your children forgive us.

Sincerely,
George.

The freedom warriors of falluja have demonstrated significant resolve in standing up to the worlds greatest Wehrmacht in the face of sustained 21st century Blitzkrieg. The sight of men without weapons confronting techno-pampered suburbanites is extrodanory and wholly sad. This is the U.S.'s Warsaw Ghetto assault. I salute you Falluja. You stand for freedom, we stand for a nation that has lost our sense of proprioty, rightousness and moral values. We are a nation that is lost in hyper-reality, soundbites and oil-dependency. Our actions are revealing themselves to the world for what they are, ignorant arrogance. America will win this battle, but will loose its soul in the process.
