I'd guess it probably wasn't controversial, although I have no inside line.

Whatever else you want to say about the PWW, they understand Chicago politics, the forces involved, and the need to take a stand on racism, especially when aimed at someone as important here as the Rev. Wright and Barack Obama.

I wish the same could be said for others here as well.
