I'll correct OB Rag and say they were wrong but the number doesn't really determine how people read the story.
Are people going to be amazed by what happened more if 10,000 versus 3,000 were there? I don't think so.
If people care at all, they will care because they appreciate the fact Americans showed up to voice their opposition to the war---an opposition silenced by media, the corporations (especially ones that own media), and politicians in America.
