We need to get these kids through the system and holding diplomas. Enlistment numbers and standards are far to low already. By allowing protesters the easy out of expulsion, our investment in the budding Iraqi democracy risks running dry on young healthy 18 year old lungs, legs, hearts, livers, skulls, flesh, and blood. Besides, after the attack on Iran and reinstatement of the draft, we will need every able bodied youth available. I say let them have their little protest and graduate them. It is not as if there lives depend on their voices being heard. Lord knows the education system and federal government will look out for their best interest cradle to grave. Our mature active democracy will surface and resolve the issues of life and death for our children. Get them back in the classrooms and society will make it all better.
