The only thing I've seen these "uniters" do is mitigate the outrage over the war, literally blame Iraqis for the violence and destruction there, and sap the energy from the hundreds of thousands who were taking action to fight the war on many fronts.
Bringing people closer to the sham that is American electoral politics will most likely lead to more disillusionment and apathy.
Isn't this really all about raising money for commercials?
