"And if the politicians who just voted for war funding actually show up, a public display of disgust wouldn't hurt. These assholes deserve it. Turn your back, boo, hiss, chant, drum, haul out your whistle, get a fog horn, think performance art. Have fun. Be creative. Just don't remain passive participants if this degenerates into another worthless spectacle."
i dont like any of the three, but how do they think that they can get away with Daley? what an unscrupulous effort if ever there was one.
i think we should go to their little campaign rally and give any of these invited tools (and especially Daley) as big a what-for as possible. embarass them and embarass CAWI for inviting them.
for example, if they were inviting hillary clinton or dick cheney, a lot of anti-war activists would protest their protest. well, how are these two senators (and especially Da Mare) any better?
frankly, its an insult to the unarmed Black men who have been killed this year (and for the last 17 years), the police torture victims, the public school teachers and the county health care workers who have lost their jobs, the students who have lost their schools, the patients who have lost their county clinics, people threatened with the elimination of their buses, the 800-900 arrested on march 20 '03, and pretty much the large majority of the city who are victims of this man's regime. CAWI is spitting in our faces. let's spit back.
Daley is scum, the organizers must have 0 principles
