regardless of the groups that go forward with endorsing this, even if it contradicts their own stance (some of which groups i may/not be apart of myself), a million people could come out and i'll still be thinking of other ways to show my disgust with the war than lay down my soul for carl, dems and the likes to walk on it for gaining a better position. i will not participate in such an action, regardless of who else does. this is not about follow the leader, it's the fact that certain people ALWAYS find it necessary to invite politicians who contradict themselves thus a lot of folks involved in social justice activism as well. this action and the way it's unfolded does not surprise me one bit. the fact the intial meeting(s) were invite only and who extended the invitations does not surprise me. someone, no assumption of who, wants credit for organizing a (hopeful) massive action, just like this someone wants to control and/or run the show in other types of circumstances involved in anti war work.
