Jeff. The antiwar movement IS fractured - and those fractures will deepen as the Democrats persist in taking no meaningful action to bring this atrocious war to an end. As you well know, disenchanment with Congress is growing daily and even self-proclaimed "antiwar" representatives have come under increased fire for their unwillingness to take any political risks whatsoever to end the war.
Co-signing the Oct. 27 appearance of those Illinois politicians who continue to put political expediency above the wishes of their constituents in voting for the latest war appropriations simply accelerates this split and makes a mockery of VCNV's strategy of demanding meaningful accountibility from our elected officials. How sad.
