Unless I'm misunderstanding something I've read, the question here is precisely why people like Daley, Durbin, and Obama - all of whom have manifestly demonstrated their pro-war stance - are being invited to address an anti-war rally, and whether this is an effective strategy for ending the war. This is neither an "other" issue, nor or a "thing in the past"; it is THE issue.
