Just saying that something's illegal and therefore wrong, as if that's enough to prove your point, is really stupid -- unless you think that the "illegality" of slaves running away from their owners was wrong, or violating Jim Crow laws was wrong, etc., etc.
The fact remains that the immigration laws themselves are biased against working class people. Capital can cross borders, rich people can cross borders, but working people are told to go F themselves.
For much of the history of this country there were no immigration laws (perhaps when your ancestors came in), and then as the U.S. started dominating countries around the world, installing their leaders, wrecking their economies to conform to the needs of U.S. capital, working people in many of these countries needed to emigrate to places like the U.S. where they could make a decent living.
To simply repeat the word "illegal" "illegal" "illegal" is just moronic. The law itself is the problem, not people like Elvira Arrelleno.
