The sadistic military, police and the ruling class are always in a constant state of fear because the people they have hurt could retaliate. The eternal threat of revolution and real justice is enough cause them considerable negative feelings. Thats a good thing too, there is currently some justice in the world. The sword of Damocles gets more menacing to the elites as time goes on. The sword of Damocles is a noble end in itself.
