There is a large field not a half block away from "the garden" with swings, slides and a jogging path,
the only people i ever see there are students from the school,. In the evening and weekends it is as empty as the DMV on the 4th of July, come on, lets be honest: could it be that some people are a bit jealous that some people have the ability to dole out almost a million dollars to buy a piece of land, or is this just an attempt to try to smear the Podmajersky name and impress a politician wanabee, get real, get real. Pilsenites need to worry more about the gang activity west of "the garden", uh lets see, when was the last time there was a shooting over by Halsted & 19th?, how about Racine & 18th, do the math. A tip to the politician wanabees, the more people you get to agree with you, the more votes you will get, go for real problems like guns, drugs & violence in the streets by low level drug dealers, not a piece of unused land that now will bring prosperity to the neighborhood,
