I'll be pleasantly surprised if this lawsuit gets anywhere. This isnt like suing say the Chicago Police Department over a brutality complaint.
The Feds are likely to strongly argue that there's no remedy available to Mr. Vance as the actions were taken outside the U.S. in a "warzone," and the US courts will likely agree with same argument.
Just something to remember if you think this lawsuit somehow shows that we still have "rule of law" here...
