Hadn't read this week's Reader before posting the above this morning -- wish I had. Black People Against Police Torture (BPAPT), a group led by Stan Willis, Larry Kennon and Pat Hill, among others, has a smart initiative going that I think deserves everyone's support.
BPAPT is calling on the Olympic authorities to deny Chicago the 2016 games unless it makes a clean accounting for the tortures and finally holds Burge, et al responsible. No Accountability: No Games.
