Let's see if my comment gets deleted yet again -- ironically on a post regarding freedoms.
I was at Horowitz's speech, and I have videotape. During the Q&A time (which was prefaced by a request to keep statements to a minimum and get to a question quickly), Scrib addressed the panel for just over 2 minutes, as did one other person. The director of Women's Studies spoke for over 4 minutes. Everyone else was 1 1/2 minutes or less.
Responses from the panel were sometimes quite a bit longer, including one from Professor Cohen which the moderator cut off to move on to the next question.
I reiterate that I think Scrib would have better served his message by not overstating the comparison of time he spoke versus others.
My humble opinion -- no name-calling, nothing nasty, yet clearly delete-worthy. I guess you don't even have to SAY anything conservative around here to be shut down...just pointing out an unwelcome truth is more than enough.
