YOu bring up some pretty decent points there bro, but I think your missing the biggest one (as I think alot of posters to this thread have missed)... The issue is the freeflow of illegal immigrants over our borders. I live in Texas, and work with, live next to, and have a WHOLE lot of respect for the latino community here but, I cant pretend that they didnt sneak into the country in the dead of he night.
As a "White" man, my ancestors also immigrated to this country many generations ago. The big difference is they did it legally. They passed the test you just refered to (or did what it took in thier day to make citizenship happen) and when they became citizens, they didnt march in the streets waving the flag of another country trying to convince everyone here how much they wanted to stay... there are idiots on BOTH side of this argument, and that includes the latino... if you are an american, it would seem to me you would be appalled by the way many (and by many I mean ALOT) of the latino community is expressing themselves... take a look at this philvalentine.com/ or this www.michellemalkin.com/archives/004869.htm
Flying the U.S. flag upside down below the mexican flag, so you can convince the rest of the United States that you want to be here?... wow... Im no redneck, and as I have already stated I respect the Mexican culture (and other latino cultures) greatly. The dedication to family and god, the work ethic, the long historical significance of the latino peoples, are all awesome things... but when I see that, all I can say is BRING IT!!!
