Hi, I'm from Houston, Texas.....I'm a former immigrant who came from Mexico 9 years ago.I'm going to college to become a bilingual teacher, work, pay taxes and do community service like many others....
Like many other people I'm against this legislation. I don't want to go to jail for helping my uncle who is a hard working immigrant trying to help my grandparents in Mexico. It pisses me off to hear about such a stupid bill. Who in their right mind would support this!!! If all immigrants are deported, then who is going to do all the jobs that Whites & African Americans don't want, like cleaning restrooms, lawn services, taking care of your children, or picking up your garbage???? So why support such an outrageous bill!!!!!!!!! We are people trying to earn money so we can help our family in foreign countries..This will not stop immigrants from crossing over to try to find the source of their daily needs....Please DON"T support this new legislation.....
MJ, the bill would not call for deporting all immigrants. That would be crazy. The bill is designed to stop illegal immigration. If you came here legally, and are working on becoming a citizen, we're glad to have you, and wish you the best of luck.
