When i spoke with the manager, Eddie, he said he did not owe neal money but that it was previous owner. But he agreed to pay the money out of his own pocket and take up his new debt with that previous owner as long as we called off the picket. i told Eddie, if he had contact information for the previous owner, and he said yes and that he would call him right there. he called the owner but could not get a hold of him. so he said "listen, i will pay the money myself, just call this off." he also said that the previous owner owes all these guys money, referring to all the other workers inside. Eddie said that he did not hire Neal, but Neal said that it was untrue. i tend to believe my fellow worker over a business owner. anyway, that's the bosses side of the story.
