And just look at who actively opposes the Minutemen: Fringe groups with abhorrent, archaic, utopian, crminal and dysfunctional political agendas. The issue isn’t legal immigration but the ILLEGAL crossing of borders. Oddly enough, the encouragement of illegal immigration is a point of agreement between the fanatic and internationalist Left (Anarchists, Stalinists, Trotskists and other lunatics) and the Bush Republicans. But is the MAJORITY of the American population (including LEGAL immigrants) opposed to ILLEGAL immigration? Because it is a complete rejection of the rule and law and a virulent abuse of the social system. Of course, the left-wing fanatics encourage de erosion of the rule of law because they know that their sick doctrine festers in poverty, decadence and chaos. It worked for Lenin and Hitler. And it is reprehensible (and even self-destructive) that the Bush regime isn’t doing anything about illegal immigration. And here’s where the Democrats have an outstanding opportunity to increase their political capital in the short-term and start winning elections. In times of global terrorism the utopia of open borders is not only naïve but also highly detrimental in a social context.
