Well, if you want to forcibly ban Columbus Day parades and all "hate speech" (or at least the hate speech you personally don't like), or speech supporting people who you consider oppressors, then the logical extension would be to ban President's Day (George Washington and Andrew Jackson were both anti-Indian), the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas (for Christian domination over Indian peoples), and pretty much all holidays created related to America as we know it.
Some people can't seem to realize that your "enlightened" actions make you just like the very thing you're claiming to fight against.
I hope Ward Churchill will be man enough to at least take questions from the audience this time. Maybe he could explain why free speech should be for him but not for others whom he finds offensive.
