As a card carrying member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa indians....I can't say I can approve of his duplicity in his admission that he is native american.
My native hertiage is traced back six generations..in my tribe they don't just hand out membership cards..there has to be an established bloodline.
I don't know what tribe he is claiming to be a part of...but as such a "brilliant scholar", you think he would have made a phone call to the tribe he claimed membership in and made sure he had blood quantum (i.e. registered indian blood).
As for his asinine political ramblings....well I don't have to comment on those. His comments speak for themselves.
