Who are the assimilators/gentrifiers exactly? Land developeres? White people who get off on living close to danger? Socially and economically mobile citizens who prefer living on the fringe?
The march sounds kind of abstract and vague, what are you reclaiming pride in the name of? The funneling of capitalist investment in economically disenfrachised sectors of the city? Or, as your post suggests, residents from Boystown and Andersonville who can't pay rent and must find housing in cheaper areas?
Could you specify your agenda more clearly please?
