To clarify, CPT's been doing this every year for quite a while. They always do it as a component of their trainings in Chicago.

I find it useful to compare their accomplishments with those of other groups taking action in similar locales for supposedly similar reasons, such as CPT in Hebron as compared to that group that Rachael Corrie worked with in Palestine.

The video-game issue is a good one, and Blagojavich (sic) seems to be listening. But CPT's work in some places seems to be more about placating Christian guilt than about actively working to interfere with and change the culture of violence on the ground.

Of course, I say this from the comfort of a home, absent of any armed hostiles threatening me. But CPT's lack of arrests in recent years compared to that of other peace groups in the occupied territories speaks for itself. Not since Wendy Lehman has CPT done much active "getting in the way".
