I'd just like to comment that where does Mary Ann Smith come off as to make such a decision without the consent or even slightest interest as to what the community has to opinionate about the subject. First off, it's our school and how can the naval academy stand their and say that this will not affect us in any way? Of course it affects us! They're trying to take our school! And this so called "proposition" that the Navy is "offering" us is useless. They say that it'll bring discipline, teamwork, and citizenship...well at Senn we already have all this. They expect students to be well behaved at all times and for us to always be good but they do forget one thing... we're all teenagers! And if they think that bringing more students is going to solve that problem frankly I think that just about the stupidest thing I've ever heard! It'll only make things more chaotic and out of control, if they think it's crazy now just imagine about another thousand students to that. But I'm just going to leave it off by saying that it is only that beggining, there is so much more heading they're way and they'd better be ready for us, we maybe out numbered but we are not weak!
