jon, my concern in this matter isn't about "the people," whoever they might be. it's about personal safety, and the effectiveness of direct action. while many people may certainly be glad they're there, they increase the threat of state action against me, without the benefits of increasing the possibility of actions by me against the state - as someone pointed out, evidence of police misconduct is not gonna be coming from police cameras.
