Hmm, you are correct in your assumption that I did not speak out against Soviet tanks. They were for the purpose of defending the Soviet people from US and other imperialist attack. And I'm not speaking of Germans only, whose forces killed millions.
How conveniently people forget that the US, the UK and other "free" nations invaded the infant Soviet Union in 1918 in an effort to bring down the revolutionary government. We have Woodrow Wilson to thank for that and for sending troops into Mexico after Pancho Villa "invaded" the Mexico that was formerly one-half of his country.
And of course the US, the UK and France and others never, ever massed forces against the Soviets behind the Churchill rhetoric of a phantom "Iron Curtain." Right.
One need not approve of Stalinist oppression to identify the aggressors against a system that threatened the vaunted profit system. The same system that is today defined as a "liberating" force as it kills and destroys to insure safe sledding for the Haliburtons and Bechtels.
