I'm the author of this work. It's designed very much as a first-person narrative, the tale of one man's encounters with these extremists - at a time when the Right is rising at an unprecedented rate.
It's written for the lay reader, hence the emphasis on the personal. Indexes, glossaries, etc, are down to the publishers and expense they want to shell out.
This is six years of my life writ large and I happen to believe it's an important work which (though the reviewer has no mentioned it) is deeply concerned with the concept of "identity".
The new British edition has updated material; interested readers can find some more details and extracts on my site.
