Don't you know that the leftist labor movements of the late nineteenth-century were led by German immigrants? They were the most radical people in this town at that time. No you don't know your labor history at all, which is fairly typical of a spoiled, uncommitted protester. Swallow your ego, study your history and quit stereotyping. Germans died for the 8-hour-day.
