I do not live in Chicago or even within Illinois, but I really think that the Chicago community should organize a serious protest around this sentence, it is outrageous!

Well Mr. Judge, a stiff sentence might not send a message to drunks who attack women in bars, but maybe it will to the cops. That message might be: 'You are not above the law, and if you violently attack people, you will go to prison. Wether you are on duty or off.' But of course in reality, true justice like that rarely happens. Another sad chapter of police brutality in America and the injustice that follows.
There should be a protest organized around this sentence!
