I often post under the handle "M" as well, - but didn't post the previous entry. I think Mellor has some solid points to make about the possibilities of labor community/solidarity at this point. Let's hope similar initatives will be taken by union workers out in the Bay, and the example and lessons learned in Chicago develops resonance with rank and file UAW workers in Michigan and elsewhere faced with the immediate threat of seeing their jobs disappear overnight.

I thank After A for bringing the discussion back to the politics of the issue after M opened up with a barrage of personal abuse. I'll leave it here as it seems from M's last post that now we all agree.
I apologize to Marat, I misread the post. I thought he was M and that he had had second thoughts. It would seem strange as the first post was so devoid of political content but I'll give anyone a chance as we all make mistakes and shoot from the hip sometimes. I concur with Marat and After A.
