I'm sure, seeing as Richard went to an action in a city he was visiting, he will be well aware of the next labor movement in Oakland well before you attend, and you might find precious little to critique.

The time for "watching and listening" is drawing to a close. The workers at the window factory know that. Anyone who is not in a cave knows that some action must be taken.

The Republic workers have taken action--their own action, not something mandated by an employer or a union bureaucrat. Perhaps THAT is your problem with the situation?

If I'm not mistaken, this article praised the workers. It also called for more, broader action by the working class as a whole. I second that for my own livelihood.
