May I fly into Oakland at the next labor action there, piss all over everyone's shoes, shout my big fat opinion about all I perceive wrong and return back to Chicago with my rotten world view well intact?
This story is developing. Watch and listen for a moment, please. And lead an occupation of factory or home in your own city, then we can have a coalition and show the rest of the country how it's done.
Next time you come to town bring a turkey and leave your turkey brain at home.
At least Richard uses his mouth, his typing fingers, and his actions with some intelligence, "M."
I'm sure, seeing as Richard went to an action in a city he was visiting, he will be well aware of the next labor movement in Oakland well before you attend, and you might find precious little to critique.
The time for "watching and listening" is drawing to a close. The workers at the window factory know that. Anyone who is not in a cave knows that some action must be taken.
The Republic workers have taken action--their own action, not something mandated by an employer or a union bureaucrat. Perhaps THAT is your problem with the situation?
If I'm not mistaken, this article praised the workers. It also called for more, broader action by the working class as a whole. I second that for my own livelihood.
Thank you, "M," but men of action will move us forward.

How does a response like this help the worker's struggle?
And part from the personal remarks, what disagreements, if any, does the anonymous author have with the content of the piece?
