Potest Proposed Cuts for Private College Program

The MAP (Monetary Award Program) Grant is in danger
of being cut by the Illinois State Legislature. This is critical for Columbia College Students because open enrollment is still available there---it's a working class issue.

All Private College Students,

This is a critical matter for private college students
and your protest will make the difference. The MAP (Monetary Award Program) Grant is in danger
of being cut by the Illinois State Legislature.
> As you might know, the State of Illinois budget has a deficit of up to 2 billion dollars and
initial spending reduction plans propose
ELIMINATING the MAP grant. You,
the STUDENTS have been chosen as TARGETS to savesome money for the state.
The impact of this cut will be devastating for the
uture of students. All college
students in private institutions are affected by
this measure. You mustPROTEST or else a decision will be made for you.
