What's next for the occupiers?

And now ... on with the fray ...
Having been a rabble rouser for nearly 50 years now, I can tell you how things work when the rebellious elements bust a successful move. Some of the folk say, hey, that was cool, can you do one for me? Others say, hey, that was cool, I think I'll try that myself. Basically, more people will be taking a stand.
Luckily for Atlanta and the state of Georgia, everyone involved in the Woodruff Park venture did an excellent job. This is not to suggest that no one in the lot did anything worthy of criticism. It is to say that everyone was working their way through a dynamic, uncharted mess, figuring it out as they went, and they all managed to emerge with honor. This includes the protesters, the police, the mayor, old seasoned civil rights veterans, the local folk who engaged the situation and the protests in one way or another. It does not include, by any stretch of the imagination, the greedy, inhuman money mongers who have nearly ruined our country.
There will be plenty of time for post-game analysis and criticism as we all try to regain control of our lives and livings.. For now I only want to say, this was one of those time when you say, do something even if it's wrong. Well they did something. You might say they were the first on the dance floor. Others did their jobs, as best they could figure out how to do so, and it came out honorably.

A big pat on the back to all. Chest out, chin up, and back to the fray.
