The group raised $500 toward building a children’s home for Dominican Republic orphans, abused children and other needy children.

The funds go to finalizing the construction of a new facility for the home run by Pastor Domingo A. Lopez. Pastor Lopez said he started the home when he realized the “Dominican Republic is a needy country with social and economic problems, yet has ample opportunities where the church can develop beneficial programs to help children, young adolescents, families, and the nation, both culturally and spiritually.”
